A Legacy of Community and Homeownership
East Wisconsin Savings Bank began in Kaukauna, Wisconsin, in 1887, with a vision of local savers pooling their hard-earned money to help families achieve homeownership. Founded during the early industrial revolution, the bank was inspired by Norman J. Brokaw’s belief that homeownership strengthens families, improves workplaces, and benefits communities. Through a unique building and loan system, members saved together, providing the means for many working families to own homes.
This legacy of thrift and collaboration has guided us ever since. Today, East Wisconsin Savings Bank remains committed to offering a safe place for savings, financing homeownership, and delivering financial solutions tailored to modern needs.
