What is an IRA?
An Individual Retirement Account (IRA) is a retirement investment account. IRA’s can offer tax deductions or tax-free withdrawals, depending on the type of account. IRA accounts can be opened in any of our savings or CD products.

Traditional IRA*
Contributions to a traditional IRA are generally pre-tax dollars or could qualify you for a tax deduction for the tax year your contributions are made. You’ll then pay taxes when you take distributions in retirement.

Roth IRA*
Contributions are generally made with after tax dollars. You do not receive an immediate tax deduction or benefit. However; your distributions in retirement will be tax-free.
